Changelog
What's new
New features, improvements, and fixes in Abstria.
Lists fixes and a smoother Mandala
Improved- Reworked Mandala tooltips so long titles are readable instead of being cut off
- The 12×12 Mandala view now renders more efficiently, so cells respond faster when you interact with them
Fixed- Sorting in the flat Lists view now does what you pick: "Title (A-Z)" really sorts by title, and a manual order is kept across different scheduled dates — matching the tree view
- Adding, editing, or unlinking several DAPs in a row on a MAP card no longer undoes the previous change, and a partly failed add no longer discards the DAPs that were added successfully
- Adding a MAP inline in Lists no longer preselects a YAP that isn't offered in the list, which made saving fail every time
- Changing a DAP's scheduled date no longer keeps the new date on screen when the save fails, and parent WAP, MAP, and YAP statuses are now recalculated afterwards
- On daylight saving time changeover days, date chips in the DAP add form and the WAP date range no longer duplicate a day or drop the last one
- Picking a start month while editing a YAP or MAP no longer closes the form, so the month can actually be changed
DAP endpoints in the public API and steadier Lists
Added- The public API can now work with DAPs directly: create, list, update, and delete DAPs under an existing WAP
Fixed- Requests authenticated with an API key (Bearer token) no longer fail with a 401, so external tools can reach the export API and the rest of the v1 endpoints again
- Connecting Google Calendar no longer leaves an unused calendar behind in your Google account when the connection fails partway through
- In Lists, a failed delete, status or priority change, or DAP move no longer looks like it succeeded — you now get a message explaining what failed, and the view returns to its previous state
- Reordering DAPs inside a WAP in Lists is now saved, and dragging that ends on an invalid spot no longer misplaces the item
Google Calendar sync and Review refinements
Added- Two-way Google Calendar sync: connect it from Integrations in Settings and your Abstria tasks and calendar events stay in step automatically
- You can now delete a task straight from its row in Review
- In the zoomed-out Mandala, drag a WAP to move it into a different MAP
- Added an expand-all / collapse-all toggle to the child list in the Mandala drawer
- WAP, MAP, and YAP badges are now available as card label options on Today
- The sidebar now shows an unread dot when the changelog has entries you haven't seen
Improved- Integrations moved out of the plan tab into the Settings side menu, making it easier to find
- Widened the Review layout so full text is readable without reaching for a tooltip
- List accordions now animate as they open and close, and highlight the node you just toggled
- Collapsed DAP rows in the Mandala now show the linked GitHub issue number
Fixed- GitHub sync: issue bodies now refresh when the goal hierarchy changes, and deleting a task closes its linked issue
- Today cards now show the overdue badge for past tasks that only have a scheduled date
- The language you select no longer reverts to your saved preference
- Creating a YAP in Lists now defaults the start month to the current month
- WAP status and priority dropdowns are no longer clickable while the Mandala is zoomed out
- Review tasks now keep a stable order instead of shuffling each time you open the page
- Tasks without a parent YAP now see every WAP for that month as an option in Review
- Parent status is now recalculated when a WAP or MAP is deleted
Two-way GitHub sync
Added- Issue title, body, and open/closed changes made on GitHub now flow back into your Abstria tasks, with safeguards against sync loops
Improved- Favicon, app icon, and social sharing preview images now all use the Abstria brand mark
Fixed- Unknown URLs now return a 404 instead of redirecting to the login page
- Quick-add input on the dashboard no longer clears when you switch views in the Today task list
- Mobile kanban now keeps the selected tab when you switch views
GitHub sync and review refinements
Added- GitHub Issue target repository is now resolved through the YAP/MAP/WAP inheritance chain
- 50-character title limit for YAP, MAP, and WAP
